Happy 150th Birthday Canada!

1 angel food cake

1 strawberry jello powder

500 grams strawberries

1 litre whipping cream

CAKE:

When cake has baked and cooled, slice horizontally into 3 pieces.  Spread jelly and cut strawberries on each slice and restack the cake.  Whip the cream until quite firm and spread all over the cake.  Dollop some of the jelly on top of the cake and let in run down the sides.  Decorate as you please.

STRAWBERRY JELLY:

Cut strawberries into 1/4’s and add 1/2 cup sugar.  Stir.  Let sit for up to 3 hours and drain.  Add to partially set strawberry jello.
