Butter Tart

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup lightly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup butter melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tbsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup golden raisins
  • 30 (2 inch) unbaked tart shells

Directions:

  • Put raisins in a bowl and scald with boiling water, drain.
  • While raisins are still warm add brown sugar, butter, beaten egg, salt and syrup
  • Stir well for a few minutes then add the vanilla and nutmeg
  • Place mix into unbaked pastry cups
  • Bake at 400F for about 15 minutes. Let cool.
