Bill’s Melt In Your Mouth Ribs


1 package back ribs

2 large onions

4 garlic cloves sliced


1 tbsp paprika

1 tbsp brown sugar

3/4 tsp each of garlic powder and onion powder

1/2 tsp each of black pepper, lemon pepper and salt


1/2 cup ketchup

1/2 cup chili sauce

1/2 cup of your favourite bbq sauce

Remove white membrane from the back side of the ribs.  Rinse ribs under cold water and blot dry.  Mix the rib rub ingredients together and massage into ribs.  Place ribs on foil lined baking sheet and cover with sliced onion and garlic.  Cover and seal with another piece of foil.  Bake at 275F for two hours.  A little longer if not tender.  Remove ribs and discard onions and garlic.  Brush ribs generously with the rib bbq sauce.  Grill 5-10 minutes or until lightly charred.
